Yes, furthermore, jewellery in the US isn't cheap if you're
getting the gold stuff. I didn't buy from those budget places like
Walmart or KMart (very bad workmanship), so my expenses for
jewellery was higher. Especially the white gold hoop earrings I
bought from Neiman Marcus 
But it was worth it, man
Closer to home, the exchange rate for A$ is better, so it's also
good to look at buying from Australia 
Cheap accessories are very nice there also, designs
are also nice. I tend to go for their Australian designer
accessories (yes, they actually have those!), as it makes a
difference in workmanship. Furthermore, the designs are very unique
to Australia.
If I go to Melbourne again, I'm gonna stock up on their
accessories, & the clothes in the little shops. When in
Melbourne, we uni students didn't buy from retail chain stores, but
always tried to find unique clothes in little boutiques so that
Nobody else is wearing the same thing
